Welcome to LAMA’s Website

  • A Message from the President:

Hi,

The 2026 annual LAMA "Bangin On The Bayou" conference was a success. We had a good time. Jaime did a great demonstration and it was a pleasure having him and his wife here. The knowledge he showed us should be helpful in our future endeavors. I know that I have already thought of a project to try out some of the techniques that he showed us. The weather was nice throughout the weekend and plenty of good people to enjoy it with. The turnout was on average for our conferences. With some new faces to go along with our regular attendees.

We had some very nice items in the auction. Thanks to everyone that donated items for it and the toolbox.

I would like to give special thanks to our demonstrator Jaime Escobedo for the job that he did. I have gotten some good feedback  and praise.

I would like to thank everyone that helped out at the various tasks that needed to be done throughout the weekend. Y'all helped to make everything a success.

Also want to thank everyone that attended. Y'all are the reason we are able to hold these conferences and do the work involved with putting them on.

I hope to see everyone again next year as well as at our regular meetings.

The winner of the raffle was Karter Streva.

We would like to hear any feedback from the conference. Good or bad. It is how we can know what we need to work on and improve.
